Company master

Company: This module is used to create and add company details to the database. This will be in turn be used when logging in the software and give access to the particular employee details within that company.

Designations:It is used to create designations that are used in the company environment. These may include but not limited to the following:- Director,Manager,Store keeper,Data clerk etc.

Taxation:This is used to define the tax groups and the amount taxable as defined by the government. Once they are defined then, during salary processing the correct figures will be used to calculate the tax.

NSSF:It is used to define the rate an employee is supposed to contribute to the national security social fund as defined by the government policy. It is broken down into weekly, bi weekly and monthly since there might be different types and categories of employees in your organization.

NHIF:It is used to create the different categories upon which contribution to the national hospital insurance fund is deducted. It outlines the contribution made within a specific salary range and the respective deduction amount for that range.

Financial Year:It is used to determine when the company’s financial year starts and ends. Define the dates in the field box provided.

Shift Master:This is used to create the shifts that are used to determine company work hours. You can create multiple shifts i.e. day shift, night shift and dynamic shift. It is also used to determine the daily, weekly and monthly work hours.

Employee master

Employee Details: This is used to define details like name, employment id, salary and shifts concerning employees.

Earnings:This is used to create the earnings that employees get including the amount and mode of calculation. The earnings are populated from the lookups which is contained in the company masters menu.

Deduction:It is used to define the deductions that are reduced from the employee’s payslip at the end of every month. It defines the deduction mode, amount, value and how they are compounded either fixed value or varying for each month.

Benefits:It is used to define what benefits and employee enjoys during the employment period. It outlines the benefit amount, benefit rate and percentage.

Permanent master

Generate payslips:It is used to process payslips for all permanent employees in the organization. Define the department, slip mode, month of the payroll period and the year. Click the process payslip to generate payslips.

Employee Bonus:It is used to define bonuses that employee are entitled to. This button directly affects only the selected employees that have been selected. Bonus is defined on monthly basis and it is taxable. Month, year, bonus descriptions and amount are compulsory fields. Define the employee code, bonus description, amount, who approved, month and year of the bonus.

Payments:Once payslips have been generated, details of payment are found in this report. You can also add details about payment by clicking the add button. In the form, you can select the employee code and the fill the details necessary for each employee.

Salary Advance:It is used to add details about how advances (advance amount, month) are calculated. Details of the specific employee advances are entered from this button.

Permanent Attendance:This is a summary of permanent employee attendance for a particular period. Enter the Starting date and the Ending date. To Search, click Search the search will be executed as you type. To Modify, click Modify and enter the relevant details then click Save. To Add, click on Add then enter the relevant details then click Save. After making necessary changes to the attendance click Update summary. To get report click Reports.
